Glasgow City Council Bowling Club

The Glasgow City Council Bowling Club was established over 100 years   ago and as such has developed a proud history and tradition as can be viewed within the pages of this site which can be accessed from the buttons bar above.

The bowling season is only from May to September we are represented by current and ex employees of Glasgow City Council from all levels from manual workers to managers and Councillors and are always accepting new members.

As we do not have a Home Green we play at a different Club each week, these games have been established over many years and the trophies are competed for each time at a very good standard but as has always been the tradition, friendship and fellowship of Bowls is celebrated well and we look forward to meeting our many friends.
